    I would tell them not use RTV at all. None. You'll be 100 miles down the road, when the compressor locks up if they do.

    Don't forget to inspect the oil line from the block to the IP. A few members have posted leak issues caused by ether a bad hose or cracked fitting.

    You'd see a lot of vapor/oil, blowing out the road draft tube.

    Here is a front seal number for the crankshaft. It was listed on the old cross reference list on the site. Might save you time, if you need it. 417350 Simply google " 417350 seal"

    A manifold heater can not pump fuel into the base while the engine is running. It's impossible. Is your FDC bypassed? Diluted oil would be my suspicion. Front crank seals leak and make a mess, as well as rear main seals. Whatever you do, be sure to provide any shop that does work on it...
