I thought the volt meters only got their grounding through the steel mounting bracket to the back side of the dash plate.

Your going to love it. I installed one on my 30 year old Kubota G6200 diesel garden tractor. They work great. Its parked out-side 24/7 and all I do is plug it in about 1/2 hour before I need it and she fires right up.

I think they must be made that way because mine does the same thing. Just lay back and drive it around like your the Fonz from Happy Days
