    My son and I are hams. When I picked up my Deuce from Ft. McCoy, my son had an HT in the M35 and I used the mobile radio in my car to communicate as I followed him back home.     For anybody interestred in ham radio, there is no code requirement to get a license or to upgrade to general or extra. You can study for the written exam at QRZ.COM QRZ Ham Radio Practice Tests Find a ham club in your area that does the testing and you'll be on your way to the world of HF.
