    the engine has low compression in two cylinders, and either it's a bad headgasket or my engine is kaput. Not to worried about it either way.

    by rule in CA, you have 30 days to register your vehicle since purchase or else you get fined. You need to stop using the DMV and get with AAA. They are too great!

    Thanks for the reply, but I'm pretty sure it's not the starter. I thought about that but you can definitely hear it coming from the GPR. It happened once when I started the truck and all of the lights in the cab kept glowing. Weird.

    I think my glow plug relay is starting to go. It looks like it was replaced recently.. looks pretty new. When I try and start the truck it makes that grinding rotating sound so it's probably time for replacement.

    you know, I can't get mine apart at all. They bolts in the back just keep spinning. Any tips?

    started painting the M1009. I picked desert khaki/tan instead of OD green. Thoughts? I know as a Navy truck it was originally green, but I want to go with the Desert Storm look with the allied markings
