VIN 222793L1087200412167 thanks to your tip to look under layers of paint, i found this number in 3 lines, not sure if it's all part of the VIN, the 3rd line was the last 5 digits, 12 1 67, maybe the date of manu., maybe also part of VIN. aloha

alright! thanks for the tip for finding the vin, did find it under paint... 222793L10872004 12167 looks like the "12167" of the 3rd line is date of manufacture, not sure it's part of the vin. nsn 2320000771616 s/n 4M0637

yay! just got my first deuce! it's a bobbed '67...but hercules engine # 12354301 says made 12/68. couln't find a frame vin, but just looked on sides, not front. serial number is 4M0637 "contract number" DAAE0787069 27000 miles...not much else for numbers; looks like barcode scanner labels on...
