Well- got my 803 up and running. Thanks to Light in the Dark located 2 parts machines. So off to Vermont I went and picked them up. Took 1 apart for flywheel and put mine back together. Everything works perfectly. Thanks for everyone’s help. I have 2 engines (don’t turn) and 2 generators. Good...
Also in the parts for sale there’s a guy selling a whole 803 but I can’t figure out how to message him. I tried to start a conversation but no response?
Thank you for that info. It could very well be true. I am trying to find bolts for it also. The finer thread makes it slightly more difficult. Maybe someone that has a flywheel will have bolts also.
When I purchased this unit it had 12 hrs on it. Real hours. You could tell by how everything was new. Everything. Most hrs that I put on it were very low load. Not that it matters. And as I said the engine was still running when I realized it wasn’t generating. Running rough because of no...

Yes it was running but poorly. I was assuming with the flywheel not turning it had no balance or counterweight to keep it smooth. Although something else could be going on? And I am concerned about WHY the bolts broke. We’re they never torqued properly? Or did something else in engine cause...
