MD308, I think those are "hydraulic hose" fittings not air lines. They are to supply fuel to the gen-set he was talking about. The hydraulic lines have a stop valve in them to block "flow" till another fitting is connected. (I am hoping I am not too far off the mark here. If I am I'm sorry)- gimpyrobb
