    If you need to take it apart and are concerned, there is a Case dealer fairly near you in Greenville. I've bought some odds and ends Case parts from them in the past. They are very friendly and easy to deal with and have a Service Dept. You might want to call them and see what they would...

    I would keep pumping grease in it like Guy said and exercising it. Taking the pin out is probably not that difficult with a big hammer and then cleaning rust off of the pin and out of the holes. Putting the pin back in may be a real pain due to alignment issues.
