Read my previous post that I edited while you were responding.

So who has bumped the power on a 6CTA cummins

I made a few edits since you quoted me. What is your goal?

So who has bumped the power on a 6CTA cummins

I would not rev the 6CTA in our trucks over 3K. Cummins says they see a lot of snapped crank shafts due to differential harmonics. No damper in the world can manage that. The marine motors mentioned use a different crank. The 5.9L springs for a 6BT - Bosch P7100 work and they're down rated in...

So who has bumped the power on a 6CTA cummins

Bring it, ye one disco ball wonder :). You'll still be talking about this and a trans swap in 2020. I am driving my truck now. :) If you're swapping turbos, get away from the archaic/expensive Holset line. Besides, the MW pump still has more fuel than the HX50 has air. HX50 is still 5.9L...

So who has bumped the power on a 6CTA cummins

Any time after next week :) Something wrong there... but to many variables to enumerate. I have a few Vettes kicking around.

So who has bumped the power on a 6CTA cummins

See, this is where discoball and I split... even though I gave him the idea of a bigger pump, that I got from Neverenough. The BoschMW is more than enough. Right now, my truck is too much fuel, with the new turbo, charge air cooler, etc. Give it timing and it's plenty. I have to remove fuel...

So who has bumped the power on a 6CTA cummins

Any time you want to put your stock Ford with programmer up against a stock Vette, let me know :).

So who has bumped the power on a 6CTA cummins

I'd change that in a heart beat. Mil spec'd 8 degrees of timing for our motors... most OEM's spec 16 degrees.

    Where is your timing set?

Have you done it yet? :) We tried it that way. Easier to take the cover off.

You can only reclock the pump for 2 degrees of adjustment with a Bosch MW pump. We pulled the gears and re-indexed them.

So who has bumped the power on a 6CTA cummins

Yep, I did it Biggest single improvement you can make. Then we did springs, injectors and a turbo...

I also have another one of these coming. Charge air cooler that fits in front of the radiator, without moving it... Can use the AC condenser, too. With the intake, my air side should be good to go.

I grabbed the other one. Cheaper than making one :)

So who has bumped the power on a 6CTA cummins

Yep, hard to see how we're working a pipe dream... all my brackets are on, I have a rear air ride, turned up motor, LED lights and a bunch of other stuff, including 4 other projects in the time you've been talking about this. :) So, Discoball, when do you stop talking and start turning up...

So who has bumped the power on a 6CTA cummins

Discoball, just suck it up and do it already. You've been talking about this for more than a year. Come drive my truck, before I do more to it. Right now, it's stock hard parts with timing and fuel adjustments, next step will be nozzles, different gov springs, a blue bird bus air charge...
