    Yes, it works.... but as well as oil-in-water emulsions? Keep in mind, the specific heat of water/water based cutting fluids more than doubles the value for plain mineral oils - like your WMO. Also the boiling point of water is much lower, and for the same volume of fluid it takes more heat to...

    For tapping and threading I use "STP Oil Treatment" in pure form, nothing else. For drilling, soluble oil type cutting fluid.
