Took the M37 to Cheyenne Cruise Nights last night. They do it every Saturday in the summer to benefit a local charity (was Toys for Tots last night). Raised over $3,200.
The seat covers came from New Life Canvas. They are actually grey, the picture doesn't really show that. There's more seat pictures around posts 100-105.
Well had to adjust the transfer case shift rod, then took it for it's first drive in 8 years. Moved it to storage at work and the M38 is now home in the garage. I'll get some pictures in the next couple weeks.
I don't know who exactly rebuilds them, but they came from Midwest Military. They look great. As soon as I called about the problem they knew exactly what was the matter and said they would deal with the warranty and I had these within a couple days. Very happy with their service!
Fixed a small leak with the brake light switch sensor and replaced the transmission top cover. Tomorrow I need to hook up the brake pedal spring and add gas; then try to start!!
Been a rough week! Coolant in---then leaks everywhere. Got that down to a super small drip that I can't pinpoint yet. Added Brake fluid, adjusted rear brakes, waiting for my power bleeder adapter for the Chevy master Cylinder. (should be here tomorrow) Adjusted the transfer case shift...
Actually, the plan for the truck is that it will be used for Toys for Tots during events here in Cheyenne. My wife is the Laramie County T4T coordinator.
Batteries and cables in. Installed a battery cutoff switch. Fording cables, speedometer, and wipers hooked up. Need to paint and install exhaust, bleed and adjust brakes, install air cleaner-then start it up!
Well back at it. The harness from Vintage is mostly in. Rear harness is totally done, the front harness is installed (hooked up), but is not clamped in. I still need engine/trans fluids, adjust/bleed brakes, install exhaust, air cleaner and a few really minor tweaks.
