    What is the correct gear lube for the M52

    If you are planning on using GL-5/MT-1 in the transfer case, you might as well use it in the tranny as well. The transfer case is synchronized and I assume they use the same yellow metal syncros as the tranny. Lets face it, GL-1 is a 60 or more year old fluid spec and gear fluids have improved...
