    Not having the time but wanting my M1009 in good shape for driving to Findlay in a couple of weeks, I had my mechanic replace the harmonic balancer (preventative - it was original), repack all four wheel bearings, replace front wheel boots, and change the belts (as long as they were off anyway)...

    What have you done to your CUCV today/lately? Watts = current(amps) * voltage Amps = watts/voltage 37.5 amps = 900 watts/ 24volts 75 amps = 900 watts/12 volts But I agree, continuous duty or intermittent duty, it makes a difference.

    What have you done to your CUCV today/lately? Replaced the basic rubber wiper blades with rain-x Latitude blades (17.99 each at Advanced Auto). Wipers move much better now.

    What have you done to your CUCV today/lately? More like done with, pulled my 5000# Bobcat out of the mud after my farm helper got it stuck today. First chance to use 4x4 since I got it.

    What have you done to your CUCV today/lately? Mine were 100% tight. Took it apart, added some shower pan liner, and reassembled. Works like a champ. Need to remove the star screw on the cover to gain access.

    Fixed my rear window crank. Pin was slipping past the screws. Add two SS washers, filed the side towards the center flat and cranked it down. Works great.

    Changed the oil&filter, added a quick drain plug, and fixed the right turn signal (corroded bulb base, wire brushed)

    Added a cold air intake from LMC. Bought the hose clamp locally. The LMC hood liner dropped the sound level 3-5 dB at highway speed. The intake takes off another 1-2 dB. My wife can hear me on the phone now. I don't know if that it an improvement or not ;-) undercoat will come later this summer.

    What have you done to your CUCV today/lately? - Part 1

    I actually operate Amateur Radio from my M1009. At the rear is an AB15/MS-11X NVIS HF. The other two are for SINGARS bases repurposed to single band HF (Hamsticks) I can switch between the three. On the other side is another SINGARS for VHF/UHF. Two be added are two Jerry cans for biodiesel.
