    The cold check level is at the "K" on the word Check on the dipstick. That correlates with approximately 1 1/2" above full on the dipstick. Say what you will, this is where 22 quarts of oil lay in a cold multifuel. Except for old Cat engines in dozers, I have always been taught to check the oil...
