700lbs of sand wasn't too bad, but the load of bricks was a bit much for the Deaver spring-pack on this Tacoma. Was sitting on the bumpstops (Light Racing Jounce Shocks, so there was still about 3" of 'suspension' left - and those wheelwells were cut-out for tire clearance).
I dunno. Picked up an M353 trailer with an Astrovan. Was rated to tow more than the trailer weighed, and the angle on the tongue was ridiculous, but it was cheaper than driving mah deuce (500 mile trip).
EDIT: got pulled over by highway patrol and the guy lectured me, but couldn't really do...
