    because just like in SC I bet that when towing doubles or triples you can ONLY tow 28ft trailers and only with the use of converter dollies.

    I don't think you want to plug the holes in the block. I would loop the lines so you get flow thru them. it seems to me that if the lines were blocked then you would not be circulating oil thru the system. maybe there is some sort of bypass that would make this a nonissue but I don't think so.

    I had a glow plug die in my hmmwv, lost half the tip on it as well. it banged around for about 50miles and then got spit out the exhaust. not what you would want to happen to a nice new motor but if you are stuck and it's your only way of getting moving again then you might could consider it...

    hmmwv eng into a cucv will require an oil pan, oil pump and pickup change, as well as glow plug, and depending on type of hmmwv eng, possibly water pump and backing plate swap. it is pretty easy stuff. if you can swap the eng then you can do this stuff too. My hmmwv has a cucv engine in it...

    ya, sounds terminal to me. if it is hydo locked pull a glow plug and drain it first. then I'd pull that valve cover and see what you can see.
