    Adding a winch from '83 AM General 925 to our 923A2. Sold the 925 a few months back and the buyer doesn't use the winch for his application. So he sold us the whole assembly, tank, brackets, hoses, linkages etc off of it for $800. Just got the winch on the frame extensions yesterday. Didn't...

    What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

    Changed the Alternator on my M923 yesterday. Used a 24v automotive style. Had to drill the holes on the MV bracket to accommodate 1/2" all thread. Also had to open up the slotted bracket with a grinder to accommodate the 1/2" bolt up top. Good news it only required Pos & Neg cables to be hooked...
