I talked to the owner...it's still up for grabs :D
I just have to raise a few more k$ and it's mine.
Dave, I'll be paying you a visit sometime in the future :)
Good enough for me to save it as a text file entitled "daves helpful hints for ferrets"!
I'm not picking up the ferret yet. It will be picked up probably mid-08 when I'm done with my training, provided the seller hasn't sold it by then. He said he wasn't in any hurry to sell it, so hopefuly it...
I wonder how much...I asked this question on Ferret heaven and found that the mk 2/3 had several more mm's of armor added in certain places, such as the rear and bottom that the mk1 did not. Mk 2/4 had even more added.
I haven't heard from the seller today, hopefully we're still good on the...
The one I am going to get is a mk1, maybe canadian, no original paint though.
Dave,

Was the one on ebay the really rough one or was it primered red?
Found one in need of work for 7500$...I will be getting this if the seller is willing to wait a little while until I get back from PI and MOS school.
I already saw that earlier and talked to the seller....I don't have the time to full restore it. It's beyond my abilites, although I DID ask Intl Depo about it...
I'm planning on driving mine, but for long distance hauls you can bet I'll use a truck to save wear on the ferret (and gas).
And partly because I need a reason for an m211 or m35...
Holy thread revival batman....
There's a member who here lives not too far away and he said he'd take some more photos if he's down that way.
Doesn't sound too hard to fix (And if I can't fix it there's always Ferret Heaven!) I emailed the seller and asked them about it and they said it...
RE: Ferret
I emailed Tanks2go and the actual owner of the vehicle emailed me (not johndoe@tanks2go.com). I don't know about the interior or condition of the engine.
ALright.
I found a ferret, a mk 2/3, NON running condition for 12,000 USD in mid-Virginia. The vehicle is in fair condition, it supposedly needs some work (body and engine) to get running.
Ferret owners, please visit the link to my photo album to see the vehicle in question.
My opinion is...
