I dealt with this lovely situation....had to pull the entire crossover off the truck and take it to a local shop. I didn't have an EZ-out big enough to get the body of the switch out. Now to put everything back together and put coolant in it.
The front strikers are slotted, the rears aren't. I've heard of guys having to drill the body to move the striker down, and that was my plan, but the more I looked at it the more I was concerned that a) this would weaken the body, and that b) this was not really what was needed to get the doors...
My left rear x-door simply would not close. If I raised it up high enough to align with the striker, it hit the roof support at the top. So, today, in the snow, I detached the roof on that corner and installed some fender washers between it and the C-pillar and I raised the door frame/roof...
I replaced my glow plugs today. A 1/4" socket-wrench and a 10mm deep well socket was all I needed and I only had to do the passenger rear plug from inside the truck. The others were all easily reachable from the front. The whole job took about 30 minutes. The old plugs were actually in...

Ft. Rucker....haven't thought about that place in a long time. I went through 67N school there back in 1991-92
This is a great read on diesel additives. Well worth your time. http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/76-speciality-forums/64-maintenance-fluids/177728-lubricity-additive-study-results.html
Gave my truck its first oil and filter change today and replaced the oil pressure gauge and sending unit with a Bosch mechanical gauge. Now I get to figure out why my pressure is so high.
