    Not to hi-jack this thread, but I did see a Detroit engine run-away in reverse one day at a jobsite when I was just a kid (35 years!! ago). The trucker jumped the clutch and the engine coughed and rolled backwards and kept running. The emergency butterfly on the intake housing to the blower...
