The HEMTT and PLS series trucks are LONG and often tow trailers. Perhaps the reason they have the wide west coast mirrors, is to allow the driver to see wide around the back around when towing, much like you see with pickups that are towing horse trailers, etc. I agree, though, a narrower...

I remember reading about 4 of your truck builds in Four Wheeler magazine - 2 were the War Wagon (both configurations of it), 1 was the faux-HET build, and 1 was the Scorpion. I think this will become the 5th. :)

He he, I had an HO set as a kid, too. The locomotive we have I remember was one of the later ones, a 2-10-4 Texan. Anyways, you're doing a great job, Soni! What is the plan to "fill in" all that space that now resides where the engine hood and cab used to be?
