I just noticed a trend - seems to happen at every RC rally. 40 people say they are going to go, and 20 show up. We're glad we have the 20, and they are the regulars that we are glad to see! But just a trend I noticed, lotsa I-can't-make-its at the last minute. Hope you can't-make-its can...

Turns out I have to work Friday morning - will be getting there normal time, late Friday afternoonish.

No dice on the CUCV this time around - just too little time to shop around and all I found in my area so far are overpriced beaters. The search continues, but my ass will need a shotgun position again.

Preliminary planning - I am planning on getting there early this time, probably 9-10am Friday morning. If I am the first one there I'll cordon off a parking area for our group with cones and rope, or something similar, to give us our normal camping area. Not sure if anyone else is planning on...
