Thanks for the information. I was able to replace the boots on the 6 headlight connectors today while preserving the existing wiring and connector ends which were just fine. Of the 6 I swapped, one will completely full of debris inside, so I'm glad I did this. Next step would have been water... -

I've been starting to go over my new, to me, M998. One thing I've noticed, a lot of the boots around the electrical connectors are cracked. (The wires and the pin and socks seem to be just fine, it's only the boots.) Can the boot be replaced without having to remove the pin from wiring? Is...
