    Here's the MF pistons. They are flat topped, with a round "hole" in the center and a "ramp" that swirls into the hole. The arrow points to the ramp.

    I just finished putting an injector pump into an LD motor, and while reading the manual I saw where it discussed the centrifugal injection timing advance mechanism. TM 209-2910-226-34, the injector pump rebuild manual, says the LDS pumps use a different "advance" spring than the LD pumps so...
