    You can extract a little brake fluid from the truck and put a few drops in a cup of water. If it's dot 3 it will dissipate, if it's dot 5 it will form little balls.     Dot 5 is silicone. However, you should be sure Dot 5 is what is currently in the truck. You cannot mix Dot 3 and Dot 5 or bad things can happen. Mikey
