No idea. If you were losing fluid from the filter (or a blown line) all bets are off as far as what is damaged......or nothing at all. Find the leak, fix it, fill it up, and see who's it runs. Not much else you can do or diagnose until that is fixed.

Not always. Sometimes if it's too cold the whole system goes tarded and will display flat. Either way, I think jay is right, the line to that wheel is probably disconnected from the fitting. Turn it in, listen for leak....go find leak! ;-) Congrats on the new truck!

Just keep looking, one will show up cheap. The system looks cooler than it actually is, it certainly isn't useful for anything other that dropping tire pressure, it's 10x faster to just air the tires up with a chuck. It's not a bad system, I just wouldn't put too much focus on it unless...

Keep looking around, I've seen them go for as cheap as $50 on eBay before.

Yea, I can agree with that, it's really annoying.

The VIN I referenced above reflects an "H1 Alpha" with a 6.6L turbo diesel and an allison transmission (Granted it's a duramax and not the 1545p allison...but hey). The only thing I couldn't figure out was the correct factory code, which I assume is supposed to reflect South Bend, and not where...

LOL You could fake him out with a Hummer VIN. Try 137PH90 _ PE50XXXX _ = VIN check digit.

Change the fuel filter first, then make sure the fuel cut switch isn't stuck on.

Exit, Which trans do you have? AT1545p or AT545? I have a theory about the variations in temperatures between all of us.

Buy a couple of them from Ericks, they are only like $35/ea. They fail frequently. Why anyone would continue to use 15w40 is beyond me. It is well known that modern 15w40 is too harsh for our tranmissions; and DexIII is on the list of approved fluids by allision. Combine that with the...

When did you guys win yours? A good buddy of mine one an A3 last week, so whenever his EUC clears I'm going to meet him up there to help him get it ready for the trip back to NJ. Maybe we'll all run into each other!

The injectors are actuated mechanically by rockers, they will spray fuel without oil pressure, just enough to get the truck started. Ok, so if I read your post right, your not getting fuel out if the lift pump? If not, is the pump running?

There is no injector pump, the 3116 uses Mechanical Unit Injectors. I am not a Diesel tech, and I've never ripped apart a 3116, so take anything I say with a grain of salt. But, since the MUI's use oil pressure to create the pressure needed to fire the injectors, make sure you have enough...

When you crank it do you have white smoke coming out the exhaust? Indicating that some fuel is making it through? I would think it would be pretty hard for sludge to get past a 2 micron filter. I would think the engine would shut off long before any appreciable sludge made it up to the injectors.

Push starting is a plus, but an EMP isn't going to take out your starter circuit.

LOLOLOLOLOL..... Sorry man, but if that's what you spend your time worrying about, you must have an awesomely perfect truck!

"M35 Military truck" is what's on my card. Allstate really didn't seem to care when I told them all the specs. I sent them some pics just to make sure they knew what they were insuring, wasn't a problem. I pay $46 a month. I guess VA is a good state for insureing these trucks. The state...
