The ramps don't look sturdy enough to support the 3500-4000lbs without some support in the middle. But I'm assuming the math doesn't lie. Looks a lot easier to handle than anything I would make.

Moving with a 923 is a bit of a pain because you have to lift everything above chest level to load it. You can fit quite a bit of stuff under the cover though. May have other options with local volunteer fire depts etc. too.

Didn't see a mileage sticky, M923A1 driven 1271 miles, 201 gallons of fuel, truck at 29,140 pounds from CO to MT at 6.3 mpg I cannot complain, the last trip running empty was 7.8 mpg from IN to CO. Good bit of wind and the long passes out side Butte. Was going up in 2nd and came down in 3rd.

Made it to my new home safe and sound. Had a few spares, tools, and books. Very thankful for uneventful trip. Took 3 days overall, spent the night in Wyoming and Missoula in the truck. If you do it bring a very warm sleeping bag. Still get folks coming up to say hello when getting fuel etc.

Final test and I will call it a success. A little over 1100 miles and the only real wear and tear was on my hiney. Haven't figured mileage yet but only lost 2 screws that I known about, builds air quick and all I needed t buy was a 1/8 to 1/4 bushing for the small line to the dryer. Pic...

Made my way further North to ensure the new dryer works when it gets cold and snowy :)

Just to be sure everything was god headed North towards Denver. Apparently there was a shooting and stabbing so traffic was jacked, I think it's just Denver... Made it into Wyoming and took a nap, had to replace the screws holding the passenger side windahield down, also put vacuum plugs on...

Then took a quick spin to make sure all was well. Built air quck too. One pic behind with the mountans, the other towards the plains on the East sde of LaVeta pass.

Quick spin with some fix its. Well I started he truck Friday night to get ready for my trip North. As I was walking around waiting for air to build there was a new noise, a hissing air robbing noise, darn it- I was leaving in the morning. The little voice sad better to replace in the driveway...

Thank you for the well wishes, will have to try out the GoPro on the trip. Got all the tires up to travelling pressure. Hoping the green gods will smile on the trip (credit to the big guy upstairs of course). I will start a thread for trip pics etc so not to clog this any further.

Got the oil changed, that is a bit of a pain in the arse.... May look into the spin on, can't make much more of a mess. Took a drive to top off the fuel and add some conditioner in case the need arises to take it out this winter. Always brings a smile to the soul when I get to go for a drive...
