    Wow, sorry. Be careful also when lifting. The traverse mechanism is only made to rotate a load that is completely off the ground. Trying to rotate a load that is half on the ground can bend the boom or break the traversing mechanism. Sometimes you can lift a load then retract the boom or extend...

    Congrats on the wrecker purchase. I'm fortunate, on my 8th one, and only one needed major (rod thru the block) repairs. They have made me more money than anything else I have ever done and they are lots of fun.
