    Here in the States a domestic drain can handle quite a bit of abuse! Case in point... I didn't have any extra money to have a 300CI Ford truck engine block sent to the shop for cleaning etc., so I could rebuild it so I stripped the block down and had a friend help me carry it to the bath...

    You should have plugged the machine in and let it run while in the shower. The extra heat and spinning motor would have helped in the cleaning. It could have gone from a dull, boring chore to quite a shocking experience rather quickly.:naner:
