Well spoken Sir...wish I had said that...like that;-) The two events cannot...and should not be compared IMO. These fellers (GT'rs) are in no way elitists or "better than thou" types...they just like to gather once a year...usually the 1st week of August and remember... and have some...

The Guntruckers have a planning committee that coordinates stuff and I'm not part of that process...and don't wanna be. Too much work and those Guntruckers are some strong willed men...read that as they all have the best ideas...LOL:-D But...there is not a better bunch to be with once they all...

2011 Gathering will be held in Louisville, Kentucky. YAY!!!! That's my ole stomping grounds!! Prolly 1st or 2nd week in August. The rest of the info will posted later.

Here's a few more from the Guntruck Site. As you can tell, the local natives were treating the first Guntruckers in the AO quite badly (1st pic), but as usual...when the other Guntruckers showed up everything went their way:razz:

JT...just in case you didn't pick up on it...you were "voted into the family" as was the Aces & Eights. All the regular Crews spoke highly of you and your GT. You will find a way to be part of the next Gathering....ask me how I know:beer:

CAMO got back to the hooch with Proud American and Black Widow with no problems at around 23:15hrs. Secured the trucks in the hooch and headed home. Too tired to post pics or an AAR but will try tomorrow. Met some really good troops I am proud to call "friend" and some that have been for some...

Proud is Cocked, Locked and ready to Rock. CAMO will cross the LD at 15:00hrs tomorrow and drive straight thru...should be there at "Stand To" Thursday morning. I-185N to I-85...to I-77 to I-81... then a few turns. Seven states passed thru. Looks like there will be 3 trucks with the "816"...

ATD: The ORP address is 1255 Harrisburg Pike...Carlisle, PA. 17013-1621...that's the Hotel where most folks are staying and the rear area display / jumpoff point for the other missions. Everyone should be closed back on that CP by 17-18:00 hrs Thursday when you arrive.:driver:
