Well the restoration on my 49 CJ3A M38 clone is done I have been driving it around and its a great little vehicle its going to do its first parade next week. I still have a whine in the trans I will probably take it out and rebuild it while the jeep is parked for the winter I replaced the master...
Had the NDts put on the rims last week so I finally got them put on the jeep still some problems to solve generator not charging the battery for one and carb problems. The carb was just rebuilt at a well known rebuild shop and after putting it back on the same problem again after 1/3 throttle it...
Today I got the decals on the jeep and I made some mounts and installed the humvee seats this weekend now just waiting for the carb to come back from the rebuilder and were good to go.
I get the pleasure of driving them around a while and the feeling of accomplishing something then pass it along to someone else to enjoy Tony your first on the list.
Tony my wife doesnt know how to drive anything with a manual trans I like it that way any toys I buy and dont want her to drive I make sure it has a manual trans the jeep should be ready for parade season it starts in a couple weeks.
I really like it thats going to be my summer ride I just ordered the decals for it they should be here next week Adam that is a ford 4000 industrial it was manufactured for the USAF in 1970 still has the data plates on it I bought it out of NJ off the GSA.
