    Thought I'd post more info, and a happy ending to this...I forgot I have an NOS front wiring harness on the shelf. I got it out and traced the 654 wire from the pump to the wires that are under the dash. The 654 doesn't re-appear anywhere else on the harness, somewhere in the taped up loom it...

    That's the wiring diagram I have. It shows the 27 wire coming off terminal B from the master switch and junctioning with 654 to the fuel pump. I can't find that junction.

    I'm still trying to track down my no power to fuel pump problem. Apparently this 1987 is different from earlier trucks. The diagram I have shows the #27 wire from the ignition switch joining with #85 to the air buzzer, #74 to the starter button and #654 to the fuel pump. This truck has 4 wires...
