What have you done to your CUCV today/lately? - Part 1

IR lights installed on 1009 I moved my front IR lights and moved the control box on my winch so that it has a lower profile and the cover fits better. I decided I did not like the brackets and did not like the lights out that far. The winch control box was on top of the winch, I used a hose...

What have you done to your CUCV today/lately? - Part 1

They are L brackets with an extra tab welded to it to make it an F bracket. The bolt in the back tightens to clamp the bracket to the brace. The bulbs had an up arrow on them and the buckets lined up with the bulb so that the adjustment screws are on top and to the left side when looking at...

thanks, the M series headlight buckets that I got from Popacom (I think I got his last pair) are a perfect fit between the rails on the grill gaurd. What is nice about them is you can mount them even and then use the adjusters in the headlight housings to aim the spotlights. You do not have to...

I have primed the fuel filter base by using a hand vacuum pump (same one for bleeding brakes) connect it to vent line, open valve and pump it till fuel flows without air bubles. If you stop pumping and have to remove the line to empty the cup just make sure you close the valve prior to removing...

I actually bought a wench from another member while on my road trip. 12000 lb mile marker. I plan to put a 2 inch receiver hitch on the front frame mounted behind the bumper with the end sticking out of the center of the license plate holder. I will get a mount for the wench that uses the 2...

If it is just the tip of the spring that wraps around the cable, you can use some small wire to tie that end around the cable, thats what I did with mine. I do not have pics but could get you one. If it is broken elsewhere you probably can not fix. yes for some reason LMC charges a lot for these.

10 X's better than origional seats, they actually have padding in them. Only one bolt hole lined up, I had to drill and install nuts and bolts for the other three on each seat. These seats have metal plates in the bottom of them for mounting so it was really easy to put them on the 1009 seat...
