streetgliderx . yes indeed , old Waterloo , family is from there , what can I say , got STUCK in the northern branch of the tree . We are due for a Bama trip come spring .
Yes , a fork lift is the right tool to move around those 395's . I used the folks on the my JD and a tire dolly , much easier ! I will have to stop by next time I visit the family in Waterloo .
Put some heat on the HINGE and PIN ( USE A SMALL WELDING TIP ) and the pin should come out , then I drilled out the hinge oversize and used a 5/16" bolt and lock nut . Little 383 green and good as new .
Kinda walked into the winch , happened to hit GL on Black Friday , got 40% off the list price , could not pass it up . I measured the winch and frame and probably have to add a few inch's to the frame , then plan on a 3/8" steel plate between the rails . The kit came with a fair-lead roller ...

I am in the process of replacing door hinge pins , glad they invented a flame wrench , LOL Heat them up and they come right out . Now just have to find the right pins .
Put in 2 new Interstate 6TL's in my duce , plus new cable ends . Starts like NEW ! LOL . It had 2 Exide's that were only 4 years old . go figure . Local Interstate dealer gave me a good price on the Batteries , also said he gets Blem's from time to time .
Painted the poles and brackets for the convoy lights . I think I have all the bits and pieces , could use somebody with access to a water-jet , the round disc that come with the kit are 11" could use a 8" disc . My strobes are smaller that the old revolving lights . I still need a bunch of...
BURN IT OFF !!! , really , you just need to heat up the epoxy with a torch , I used a rosebud , and then use you basic BFH and give the air ring a few whacks , it will fall right off . Then I used a flap wheel to clean up the axle housing , good to go as they say . Then just get a plug for the...
