If your kit comes with a fan already on the condenser then you can mount it anywhere there is air flow. For example, on the roof comes to mind ! Yes I know that sounds crazy, but at the transit department I worked at we mounted cooling condensers that had built in fans on the roof all the time...
No. The service port is not that large on this system. Also the receiver dryer only has two lines to it. One "in" and one "out". The "out" one is capped off. Also look closely at the condenser in front of the radiator in picture #1. There are no bolts holding it on. Look closely at the picture...
I don't believe this guy ever had his system working. If you look at the picture he posted it shows there is no line out of the receiver-dryer. Just a blue cap. He was just a "want-a-be" .
