My list of commitments so far. I will be actively looking for you starting tomorrow evening so long as my trip is uneventful. I am staying at Kaye's Keep which is the large cabin directly across the street from the main lodge with members Welder1 and Riddle1. We will have our screen names...
After today's "shakedown" run, I'm looking for an accessory drive seal / wear sleeve for a 250 Cummins. I'm also interested in a water pump for an M939 A0/A1 truck. My water pump is fine but it has been strongly suggested that I replace it while I have the front of the truck apart. Sounds...
I'll trade you my thimbles and outer lugs from my M923. Please bring the wheel nuts so I can install them when I put on my new wheels and tires on location. I'll be easy to find since you're truck will be lifting mine for the tire swap.
I would have thought that flat 4 would make more than 6 horsepower. We had one on an air compressor in the National Guard, it would make a neat go-kart engine.
I'm looking for a few fuel filters for the large driver's side frame mounted canister. I've found them online but $14 shipping per filter is a deal breaker.
Derek,
Put me down for a coleman stove please. I'm sure it will find a home on my National Guard M984A4 for times in the field and my buddy wants to use his percolator to make coffee. See ya there, may buy other stuff to once I get done swapping tires Friday.
Joseph
MSDA,
I'll let you know what my friend says about the air tanks. It's likely Yes but please let me confirm. The axle clamps belong to me if they are for 1" pins and the chains are decent. For that price it wouldn't matter if I never use them, just piece of mind if I have to pull something...
MSDA,
What size are the air tanks. Truck specific does not matter as I have a friend trying to add a small onboard air system for a 2500 Ram with a Cummins to supply pressure for an exhaust brake set-up.
Thanks Kindly Floridianson, I'll get some made after the show. I'm only replacing mine due to age. They are not leaking or showing any signs of illness but they are a rather critical part of the NHC 250 oiling system so I'll replace them during the after rally oil change.
I think I've gotten my buys sorted out, even have an M819 to help me lift my truck one end at a time so I can switch tires. Floridianson, please bring the 5 ton front boots. I'll take on the job locally with help from a friend after the rally. Gimp, my friends drank your beer last year and...
I'm looking for some M939 rear axle inner seals, outer seals and lockwashers (X4) for my rear axles and (1) pinion seal for my rear most axle. I need to complete an annual axle service on my truck and do not have the parts on hand. I can order them but figured I could save on shipping if I...
Interested in an M939 series battery relocation kit for a reasonable price. I have considered relocating the batteries to the bed if the kits are made of unobtanium. I'm planning on bringing an MTVR towbar with 1.5" feet and pins but may end up giving it to PCTrans if he convoys with me again...
