What did you do to your trailer today.

You weren't loading track loaders on trailers that have a 4ft deck height. Low decks I go forward. Steps and flatbed where there is alot of looking at the sky while you climb the ramps, it's best to go backwards so you can see the deck alot easier out the rear of the machine then trying to...

Tracked things should be put on backwards. It adds increased visibility while loading. While unloading you can use the bucket or blade to slow your decent when break over the pivot point coming down.

What did you do to your trailer today.

Super singles can be rated for 9900lbs for 385/65/22.5. Or 11400 for the 425/65/22.5s, or I've seen 15,600lb 445/65/22.5. I believe the 365/80/20s with combat wheels are rated at 12400lbs. I used the same studs as pilot hub studs are very long. I contemplated putting on Michelin XZY 3s in...

What did you do to your trailer today.

The military had a 10ton capacity on the data plate. The marine corps used it to haul their cat 420 backhoe. The manufacturer rates the trailer at a 25ton capacity for offroad use and 30tons on-road. Alot of the m322s were deployed to Afghanistan so there is no telling what all they put on...

What did you do to your trailer today.

swapped on some 275/70/22.5 Michelin XZU-2s. 18plys rated for 6900lbs each. Will need to paint the wheels. Dropped the rear deck of the trailer by 3 inches. I will probably move the lunette to the upper position to level the trailer out. Right now the front is the same height as the upper...

What did you do to your trailer today.

It put a little concave in 5/16 steel that had a 28,000lb Gradeall sitting on top of it. Back of the trailer is fine. Worse can scenario is that the dovetail breaks off when loading something heavy if i dont have the legs down. The frame is 1/2" 6x10 I beam. With the rear having about 10...

What did you do to your trailer today.

I paid 2600 for the trailer when it came out on Gov planet. They paid out a good bit on it when I filed my safety replacement claims. I didn't even charge em labor but those super single 425 tires are around 1200 each. Plus it burned up a new 16.00 and wheel on the tailgate. So yeah you can...

What did you do to your trailer today.

Also i did some measuring for my next trailer project and that will be to add a lift axle to get rid of some tounge weight since there is 14 ft of deck in front of the axles it can make it a little too much sometimes.

What did you do to your trailer today.

It got hot chappie but mostly it was the hydraulic fluid in the lines below it burning. It got hot enough to slightly deform one wheel well hump which is the thinest steel on the trailer as it is 5/16 . The frame of the trailer it barely burned the carc off of it. The fire was centered below the...

What did you do to your trailer today.

Went ahead and put some paint on her since the fire burned off most of the rear paint. She got a few new tires since then as well. Along with 13 rear lights compared to what i had before along with a set of strobes. Hopefully they will detour any future rear end collisons. I also mounted a...

What did you do to your trailer today.

Toby, just so you can see what mansfield bars do since some people think they are life savers. They do nothing in a 30mph or more impact. The cars still go up and under the trailers. Especially when they same on their brakes and nose dived. In the event on my trailer the 16.00-20 on the...

What did you do to your trailer today.

There is a thread in the conversation section about a driver who ran into the back of my M322 at a high rate of speed.

275/70/22.5s are the cheapest dual with the best weight rating to go to. That size mostly comes on transit buses and RV's. Rated for 75mph and 7,000 to 9500lb each weight rating in duals. Compared to a 245 or 255 size tire that is only rated for 4 to 5,000lbs. They are found on ebay for around...

What did you do to your trailer today.

Everything that burnt up in the fire was pretty easily replaced. Burned up 4 air lines, 2 brake chambers, 2 mud flaps, rear hydraulic lines and cylinders, and rear lighting. Got a few air line fittings as well. Total damage was around $600. Not too bad but that included the military LED lights...

What did you do to your trailer today.

Finished for the most part. Even installed a spare tire carrier for my 1600. Used the 24+ off the military plug that will keep the batteries on the trailer charged up. Using a hold power switch so I cant leave the pump on my accident. That's all folks. https://youtu.be/86q-fX6QTr0

What did you do to your trailer today.

Little more left to go. Few wiring and hoses and install a spare tire mount on the ramp. Cut the fender wells off and some other things. I could not find a 2 or 3way valve locally for cheap so I had to utilize this selector valve for now. Will clean that birds nest up later. Sent from my...
