You can balance 395s. Even with runflats. . Has a 2.oz weight on the inside as well. Ive ran this tire for over 20k miles
It came off base at RRAD like this brand new.
Fluid balancing is ok but isnt much improvement.

I was more concerned with the fact that with the truck in neutral. The rear drive shaft removed. And the air brakes released the truck drove itself up hill almost 6 inches before he stopped it with the brakes. My driveway slopes down to the street and it tried to go up hill in neutral.

On a 5 ton truck like mine the most rear axle is always the hottest and even then its never more than 30 degrees. Loaded they are generally the same temp.

Maybe but he said he has a vibration that he feels in the seat at 50. with a higher temp i am going to suspect a pinion bearing since he said he has some slop in that driveshaft yoke. the vibration from it could have wore the yoke out over time. I will be looking at it here in a little bit.

This is what I did on the 5 ton list. It is pretty accurate. In these trucks being so loud you may not hear or even feel a bearing or something going bad. Especially a LMTV with its chatter anyways. But on my 5 ton i check temps everytime i stop or get out to refuel. I always see a temp change...
