    The 915a1 has an HT754CR not an HT740. They are the same transmission one just has 4 gears one has 5. Flywheel will transfer over but the bellhousing is 4inches larger in diameter which means new engine mounts. Bellhousing will transfer over you have to drill one bolt hole out with a jig...

    916a1s are not a big cam 400. The HT740 has a totally incorrect torque converter and flywheel. You can't install it. It's an HT740D which the D means Detroit I've got a HT754CR for sale which is the 5spd version behind a big cam. It will not bolt to a nhc250 without the sae1 bellhousing...
