in my haste to take a picture i did swap the two parts by accident, but with the pack assembled in the correct way it still has the issue. just building the air valve assembly, i tested it with compressed air, moving the brass piston upwards to open the check valve.

Thank you for the pics, im fixing to re pull my air pack, break it back down and tack pictures of how i have it assmbled. i am really confursed on this one.

Is there an exploded view of the new style pack??? I am really hoping this is an assembly issue from my own hands.

Yes, i can pres the pedal and release it and hear the air bleed off.

I dont mean mean to sound stupid, but on the short style pack like i have i have not seen a plug any hwere on it. I know there is one on the long style, just not on the short.

Trust me, that air pack is now cleaner and tighter than most girls in my area.

LF,RF? I will have some one look at the soft lines in the am, When i have had soft lines go bad they would swell and hold the pressure. I drained the air taks and tried the pedal a few mins ago, Pedal gets soft and gos to the floor, pump the pedal three times and i began to get some stoping...

I get a rock hard petal, Can not push it down pas 1 inch. with no stopping power.

Yes i have a solid stream of fluid when i bleed the air pack, Wheel cylinders are leak free and working, Belleding order was AP,RR,LR,RM,LM,RF,LF USed one gallon of fluid to bleed the system. Yes, I found out the hard way when i bought a kit from a ss member and it was wrong, how ever another...

Here is an update on the brakes, I rebuilt the air pack from an NOS kit, found out i have the A3 short style. I completely drained and leaned out all of the dot 5 from the brake lines. Say what you want but i switched over to dot 3 due to the amount of brake fluid i was consuming in my attempts...

So, today i installed a new master cylinder, broke the air pack down, inspected and cleaned the unit. No pitting or rust. still have no brakes.

Im starting to think both are bad, pedal gos to the floor, and hard pedal at times with no braking boost.

I know this topic has been cover multiple times on SS, But in my reading of links and tms, i have not found one explanation for my brake issues. So far i have beld the brakes with over two gallons of DOT-5, and i can hear the air pack charge then bleed of the air after i let of the brakes. But...
