Licensing bicycles? I thought you guys were tired of regulations that were put into place specifically to harass one class,or another of vehicle owner.

Look on your truck for a sticker that says: Meets Federal Requirements , or something like that. If it has one, take a picture of it with the VIN in view, and bring it in to show them.
Also, don't call it a M1009, call it a Blazer.

Search the boards. I heard about it here on SS. The guy was saying that he got a ticket for driving while doing a "maintenance run" . He said that the local chief of police had even seen him working on the truck earlier that day.
There have been plenty of stories from members here about...
Sadly, I think I can guarantee that if you make that many maintenance trips, the local LEO with a pedantic attitude, will have you in court PDQ. It has happened to others in other states with their historic tags.
