    So I guess that means they add fuel and run at 5,000? A pulling engine is usually highly modified, as in rocker arm girdles, strengthened main bearing cap, modified rods etc etc etc. I'll be the first to admit I was wrong, just prove it.

    How about putting the GPS next to the speedo of the M1028 while you are attempting to blast past 55? I guess you could pull the dash out of the CUCV and put it in the Corvette with the GPS cause my guess is that is the only way that dash will ever show that fast (for real).

    Not to further a fight but from what I have heard the speedometers read high in a CUCV, as much as 25MPH high. Please post a pic of a GPS unit showing us that you ran one that fast please. I'd like to get one someday if you can prove they go that fast.
