Here is my 817. I like the looks too but have to admit I like the AT and air brakes of the 923. Sold the A1 in the second photo and bought the 925 in the third.
Dezert ratt, you must be partial to hydraulic brakes and shifting? That front-on shot shows the size difference real well of deuce and 5 ton. Nice trucks and not likely to rust away. Do you live in fire prone area?
drnurse90, that's a nice looking truck. If your wondering about touch up paint, I've become rather partial to the Behr ultra premium exterior flat, available at Home Depot. Yours appears to be the 383 green and black. Welcome to the hobby.
Totally dead batteries will not take a jump. New batteries are the answer. Of course new fuel and filter.

Here are my current projects...an M817 and an M925. M817 will be green 383 over black this summer. Making oak sides (painted too) and using green canvas for a cover. With the right 3 or four stage hydraulic cylinder, the 925 will be a dump bed.
