The mechanic is excellent and has no problem with me buyin the parts. Just wanted to know if there is a specific part number for the one I have in the truck. I do not have the time or know who to fix it properly myself.
A local shop wants 800 to refurbish the pump. Not going to happen! Anyone have a good reliable source for one? I seen eBay has a few, but what one do I need for a 85 1009? I'm not nearly on the mechanical level as most here. Should have spent more time around the motor pool!

My pump is done. Should I replace anything else while its in the shop? Would it be a good time to replace injectors and glow plugs? Bought it with 22k and now has 47k. Lastly, where would be the best place to get parts?
