Yeah, I even tried a "plumbers friend" suction cup...it would move the metal but not enough to get it to "pop" back out. I still had to use a fair amount of filler in that area after massaging it back into place.

Well, it felt like Spring here today with temps above 70. Tomorrow is supposed to be 80 and if the wind will stay down, I'm going to paint the '09 tomorrow afternoon. It's been ready and waiting all winter long and I resisted temptation a couple of times when it was 50, so now I'm sitting here...
Yesterday I got the front end and cab top primed with a couple of coats of rattle can Rustoleum. It needs a little more sanding in a couple of spots and then another coat of primer, then I'm finally ready to paint!!! Wonder how many calm, 60 degree days we'll have this winter in Kansas. None in...
Got the back half of the '09 primed Friday and Saturday. Using rattle can Rustoleum primer and it seems to be working out really well. I don't have a lot of time to spend on it right now, but in another week, it should be ready to paint...assuming there will be another 60 degree day, no wind and...

Got the bedliner in the back today...first coat anyway. I'm not a big fan of black so I'll be painting the floor when I the rest of the interior. I toyed with the idea of using a commercial rubber roof coating but ended up using the Rustoleum I already had.
Also picked up a pair of side steps...
Rustoleum bed liner on the cab floor this morning...will do the bed this week sometime. Not sure whether to leave it black or paint it but time will tell on that.
