same concept as a ripper on a Cat D9 ^ but with "wings" on the ripper... Although,,, Im not man enough to carry a ripper around with me...... Yall have fun with that....

That Mort winch looks a lot like our rear drag winches..... though with the extra gear on the side, I think it came from a Holmes,,,, HMMM.... If I had a fortune laying around that I wanted to reduce to piddlings.... I would snag a few of the 816 or 936 rear drag winches and set em up...
bolted in like a frame extension at the rear bumperettes. there was a 5th wheel version and a dual axle trailer version. don't remember the mod # but spent some time crawling over the pics on Gov Liq... about 2-3 years ago when I was looking for my 816

The winches will likely rip out what ever they are hooked to... a BFT is going to become an uprooted Tree shortly,,,,,,,,, I have nightmares about this day......

The 816 rear winch is shaft driven from the Power divider which switches power delivery from the crane to the rear winch. The oil box on the left is the worm gear of the winch, the sprocket on the right is where the drive shaft from the Pwr divider terminates and a reduction is made from...
why not move the torch tanks to one side-dedicated- and cut out the other for an access panel under tire tray. I have never understood why they put one tank on each side forcing to connect with a long section of hose,,,, kinda risky to me.. no welding truck was ever set up that way...

Red,,, Your wrecker didnt come with the standard bent and rusty gladhand air line for filling tires.......????? I had to perform an archiological dig for mine in those pesky rear pigeon holes the TM called rear tool boxes.... I dont even use those boxes as they are constantly full of dirt...
