Not a teen (7yo), but my daughter is coming down Friday. I think Vinny has older kids. I got my screen name decal on my windshield today. I've got to go to the grocery store and bank in the morning, then load the Jeep - should be on the road before lunch for the 3 hr ride.

My daughter will love you for it! That was the highlight of the Denton rally for her and her cousin. She says she is going to play with Tinkerbell this time too. My brother buys his chihuahua (Piggy) cloths and dresses her up - then tells everybody his wife does it!:cookoo:

Bled the brakes on the Jeep today and took her on her final road test. Ready as she's ever going to be I guess. Tools, extra fluids and top are packed. Trailer lights are working now. I am planning on leaving out Wednesday morning if I can get everything else in order tomorrow. Is there space...

Sounds like a deal to me! If I didn't have to pull the Jeep, I would drive one of them Mike. Right now, it looks like I will be going down there sometime Wednesday and the wifey and daughter will be coming Friday morning(ish) - or afternoon, or evening!

Uh oh, I better start packing earlier now! I am thinking about coming down a day or two earlier (Wed. or Thurs.) - depending on whether wifey will agree to drive down by herself (and my daughter) on Friday afternoon or not. Do you think it would be a problem for me to park the Expedition...

Nah, I rented one of the campers near the lodge - before the field change was announced. I'll have to commute for the deuce drags, bonfire - EVERYTHING! Oh well, at least the wifey and daughter will be happy! Maybe next year we can tow the 'a1 behind the rv.

I was going to bring a hand held unit just to keep up with whats going on - on the trails. Just in case.
