What did you do to your deuce this week?

waved my magic wand at it and made half a tube of grease disappear, then verified visually nothing obvious was falling off or loose, then was surprised at only one out of 6 tires was low from 11 months ago when i last topped them up for the trip to swap the 109 box for a drop side, i think that...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

loaded up my empty pioneer rack with tractor supply stuff, got yellow handles for visibility but after shortening the shovel almost 5" to get it to fit the yellow part is hidden under the rubber condom, added a crowbar as it fit and because, i think i can sneak a 6 or 8# sledge under the shovel...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

i've only heard mine trigger once in a couple hundred miles, possible others occurred underway when noise levels are too high, never been able to pump the brakes and get em to pop, even after pumping the brakes down to 60#, i think they need to have the non compressable water in the chamber when...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

saw it was approaching and made sure i was where i could stop they are suppose to be, drops in system pressure like braking is suppose to trigger a vent, thinking maybe the deuce doesn't have a brake pressure impulse that triggers em, or they are garbage at $30 a piece and the $60 bendix ones...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

What did you do to your deuce this week?

that'll be easily fixable by a radiator repair shop with solder, or if you are experienced in the technique by you. would need to drain low enough and could be done in place in that situation, i would not suggest that as a starter project though if you don't know how to solder though

What did you do to your deuce this week?

saturday did just shy of a 300 mile round trip to swap the 109 box for a dropside bed, truck did well on its longest trip yet, haven't filled it to check mileage yet, actually haven't even left the house yet from general start of vacation lazyness and soreness. truck is a bit more spunky and on...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

used mine as a mobile compressor/rescue vehicle this morning, mom got a flat, the factory jack disintegrated and the spare was low from the phone call, figured the easiest thing was toss a jack in the deuce and take it instead of looking for a air pig and charging it off my home compressor, just...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

had another tree dive across my dead end street, large oak that died last year after the city sprayed the canal behind my house, base is a full 5' across. mom screwed up the video and this is all i could salvage, ground was about as grippy as you could hope for, locker in the front diff was...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

drove it to work today, fed it 5 gallons of new waste oil from under the dispenser taps at the dealer (spillage), a mix of 5/30 and 0/20 that i ran though a highly complex filtration rig after i fished the rubber gloves and pig mats out of it, topped that off with 25-30 gallons of diesel on the...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

yea im aware of the limited belt wrap and plan on keeping an eye on it, waterloo claims it works with these green gates belts so ill give it a chance. got it filled up, burped, test driven and its all happy and not pissing on the ground so im happy, got 7.5 gallons in so i must've had it just...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

nearly done servicing the belts and cooling system/installing ac compressor, the brackets in the waterloo kit work fine but the hardwear is nearly useless at least on my truck, half of the bolts were too long or too short and if i spaced it as directed the belt alignment would've been way wrong...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

doing my hoses and installing a new (not smashed by the hood and soldered up radiator) and don't think the green stuff was doing it's job by the crusty goodness of the distribution pipe nipples. also suggest the little scaffolding unit from lowes or depot for handy access

What did you do to your deuce this week?

played around with my spare little now that it's not holding the truck up anymore, weighs 340# with aluminum rim and tire worn to the bars vs 430# for steel rim and new tire, same adapter and beadlock insert. shoved it under the truck and winched it up into the pocket and with a adapter to...
