Went to recover what I thought was a 1/4 Bantam 3-C in MD (Scrap) .. only to learn after I got it back to the ranch that it was a SPEN-S 1/4 Ton. Its in pretty good shape with at least 5 coats of paint which may be the reason that the body and frame is not rusted out .. Will have to do a little bending on one side to straighten it up as it looks like bubba dropped something pretty heavy on it at one time.

Going to do a little modification to the hitch and install a lunete so that I can pull it behind my M37 on the 2015 BankHead convoy .. dont want to pull the M101A1 as I'm not dragging that much stuff .. the SPEN is set up for Steel Bows (Original Equipmqnt) that give it the "Conestoga Wagon" look and will make an excellent place to bed down on a cot during the nights that I camp out. Convoy is around 33 days and 3K plus miles, thus the intent to keep things light.

Have a good light set left over from one of my M101 Trailer projects and going to throw them on along with a 24Volt inter-vehicle cable so that I can just plug it into the M37...a little OD paint, a SN, couple of stars and some ND Tires and I have lots of canvas so Ill put a top together and Ill be set .. will convert it back to civilian mode after the trip as I bought it to pull behind the CJ2A.

Will have to find a serial number if I can .. no data plate anywhere that I can see ...heck, not even sure if it ever had one. If anyone out there has any info (User Manual) on this little beast I would appreciate any assistance and pics ...
