I am looking at a 1008 that can be had at a good price, but I was told that it shakes/wobbles pretty bad at speed any ideas on what would cause it & possible fixes?

Camber really isn't adjustable, unless they happen to make the shims that go between the spindle and the knuckle.

If all the steering joints are in good order, and it is aligned and still wobbles, it is most likely the upper kingpins. The spring in them wears over time and can cause wobble. Some people fix it by adding washers between the kingpin cap and the spring to put more tension on it.

Rebuilding the kingpins aren't hard (except for removing the upper kingpin stud, which isn't always necessary) and a kit can be had for $45 per side.

Here is pretty much everything you need to know about a front D60 http://www.pirate4x4.com/tech/billavista/60_front/index.html

Here is how to rebuild the kingpins http://www.pirate4x4.com/tech/billavista/PR-Kingpin/index.html
